Special offers will become available for Boost Mobile users in states that allow contests and betting.

Gambling is an active target for Boost Mobile as it continues to provide unique areas of value to its subscribers, so the decision to work with DraftKings was almost inevitable. Since purchasing Boost Mobile, DISH Wireless has been operating the MVNO in a manner to disrupt and attract customers with valuable but unconventional methods. DISH Network already collaborated with DraftKings making this partnership all the more possible.

In 2020, Boost Mobile has been focusing on providing financial services, healthcare, gambling, and privacy features to its subscribers. So far, it’s been able to deliver on privacy and healthcare with previous partnerships. The financial services are still a mystery, but for states that allow gambling, having special deals and access within DraftKings will delight fans of fantasy and sports gambling.

Boost Mobile customers will receive a $50 credit when they sign up to bet on DraftKings and deposit $5 to place their bet. This is for customers of Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. For the other states that DraftKings can operate in with only daily fantasy, subscribers will receive a $3 credit after depositing $5 and enter one of the daily contests. Subscribers in Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, and Washington are not eligible as state laws prohibit DraftKings altogether. Eventually, Boost Mobile is looking to have their phones come with DraftKings pre-installed on their devices. Customers can even fund their accounts by putting money in at Boost Mobile locations.

“Joining forces with DraftKings to make sports entertainment more convenient for our customers is the next step in delivering value-added services and entertainment to our users,” said Andrea Henderson, Boost Mobile’s Head of Marketing. “We want to be more than just a utility to our users, serving as a lifestyle resource and a source of entertainment.”
